The Northern Suburbs Animal Emergency Centre is a 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year Emergency Centre running from the Bundoora Veterinary Hospital.
The Northern Suburbs Animal Emergency Centre commences work at 8 pm Monday to Friday, 6 pm Saturday and Sunday and operates all day and night on public holidays. The Emergency Centre is staffed by the same personnel that work at Bundoora Veterinary Hospital. Staff work a mixture of day and night shifts, have full access to all Bundoora Veterinary Group medical records and liaise fully with the day shift staff. This means that your pet will have seamless and continuous care around the clock.
The Northern Suburbs Animal Emergency Centre is the second animal emergency centre established in Melbourne and has a long history of providing outstanding after hours care.
The centre is part of the Bundoora Veterinary Group (BVG); which owns and operates the Bundoora Veterinary Hospital and the Northern Suburbs Animal Emergency Centre. The BVG also has clinics at Mill Park and St Helena.
Routine veterinary care including vaccinations, supply of repeat prescriptions and prescription diets are generally not available during Emergency Centre operating hours.
