Ranjit graduated as a veterinarian from the Madras Veterinary College in India in 2000. He worked as a veterinarian at the Polyveterinary Clinic in Agra for 8 months.
After migrating to Australia in 2001 Ranjit gained a Masters Degree in Applied Microbiology and Biotechnology from RMIT. Ranjit’s thesis topic was entitled “Novel Mutants of Dapsone Resistant Plasmodium falciparum”. His research was completed at CSIRO Parkville.
Ranjit worked at Bundoora Veterinary Hospital as a technician while completing a bridging course at the University of Melbourne’s Veterinary School and graduated BVSc (Melb) in 2006. He then commenced work with us as a veterinarian in DEC 2006 and in September 2015 with 4 other employees, Ranjit purchased the practice and hopes to continue to run it in the manner that it has run in the past.
Ranjit and his wife Lumin have 2 lovely children, Nikita and Rohan. Much of Ranjit’s spare time is spent with his family. Ranjit also enjoys travelling.
